no problems... just get it, put it right on, how it is, tighten well, but not too much, and enjoy.

i'm on 13 or so oil changes.

AFAIK all Scoobies take the same valve. I have an 04 F-XT and put the valve on mine no problems. also the amount of oil trapped is very small I checked once by doing a drain then removing the valve and seeing how much came out. Not much.

If it will make you feel better put on the felt washer (supplied) first then a crush washer (flat side to the felt washer). For good measure apply some teflon tape to the threads, leaving the last few threads exposed to prevent any getting in the oil pan. That will take up some of the slack. I've done that w/ no issues.
