Finally! I got my RS!
Hey guys! I'm finally, officially one of you! A few days ago I purchased my '02 black 2.5 RS off of eBay! It's exactly everything I've been looking for, so I couldn't be happier. Well, I could actually. I'm getting married in five days, it's my birthday today AND I just got promoted at work yesterday. Things are good! Here comes a banana
Oh, here's my car!

Do you have cash on hand for this or you getting a loan? I would almost image if your getting a loan you would have been almost better of getting new. Granted I dont know your story on this so I am just speculating.
Either way the car does look very nice and I wish you the best of luck with it. Does it still carry the subaru warranty?

I'm getting a loan for about 2/3 of it. I didn't want a new one because I don't like the way the new ones look. Not to mention the ONLY Subaru dealer in Nashville wants north of $20,000 for a new one and they won't budge. Why should they? They're the only act in town!

Nice price! Also, looks pretty clean from the pics. I'd take off that rubbery, grippy steering wheel cover off, though.
Did you notice the K&N warning sticker on the airbox? You might be getting a K&N filter in the deal

black 2.5 rs are hard to come by...i wanted a black rs but i had to settle with silver because it was the only one left and it was "on sale"....plus the dealer said that there are no more black rs in california for sale anymore...thought that was kinda weird... congrats man

Nice ride and welcome aboard. I bought a used BRP '02 2.5 back in November and love it. You've gotta remove those dealer applied tape stripes though. Mine had them on it too but they come right off in 15 minutes with a hair dryer and a little patience. Have fun and save up for some good rubber.
