EGT Readings
Alright, my EGT probe was placed an inch behind the turbo on the downpipe (don't ask why, long story). But I am just wondering what temps I should be seeing. Highest safest level? The car is a 2000 RS-T. Anybody have any thoughts?
Thanks,
Pete

That is really hard to say. You want the EGT as close to the engine heads as possible. You should seriously think of moving it closer.
You generally don't want your engine over 1600-1650 deg F so by the time the exhaust goes through the manifold and turbo it could have lost a lot of heat.
Sorry I couldn't help more.
