E85 Storage

Hey guys,

Right now, I have 3 red 5 Gallon jugs filled with E85 sitting in my garage. I just want to know, what's the proper way to store them? I read on nasioc that some people wrap them in the large black trash bags and store them in the garage. Some stuff about weather conditions? Will I be okay just storing them in the garage?

Thanks!

What's the nearest e85 station from Livermore? Concord?

Keeping gas around your house is never a good idea but for us e85 folk it's almost worth the trouble. I used to keep mine in a 55gal metal open top drum that was grounded in my garage. Then after a while i just bought 3-4 jet ski containers. They work much better because of the wide mouth for easy pouring.

I keep 4, 5 gallon red gas cans at home. I store them in my cool dry shed.

I think it'd be a bit conspicuous if I'm lugging around a 55gallon drum in my car and have it filled was E85, LOL. The nearest propel station to Livermore is in Fremont, then Hayward, then San Jose (not a big deal because I go to SJSU).

Cool deal, so it sounds like leaving them in my garage should be fine then. WOOO! I wish this rain would go away so I can go WOT to see how much I'm boosting for now.

Thanks guys!
