Don't buy stuff from Vividracing
I order a front lip from them which was they didn't even have in stock. Then they e-mail me if i wanted it. I email them to tell me how long is the wait. They didn't answer back. Next thing I know they charged it onto my credit card already. I called them to tell them I didn't want it if they didn't know when the lip was coming in. I talk to the owner and he said he would give me a refund then. He never said he was going to charge me a cancallation fee which I didn't ok the order. Now I check and they charge me a cancallation fee. This is bull ****!
They shouldn't sell stuff if they don't have stock or even know when it's going to be shipped. I would never recommend this site to anyone.

Yeah that doesn't sound very fair. There was a thread dedicated to denouncing vivid on the old i-club, in which there were quite a few cases that they were clearly in the wrong. They only try fixing things when their reputation is in the spotlight, I don't recommend them either.

That would be my last resort. I thought there's a price difference if I dont order it from Vishnu. Vivid was selling the Vishnu for $980.00 back then, I believe. But if it comes to worst, I'll get it direct from Vishnu.

WR xplosive not everyone has a bad experience with Vivid Racing. I have bought several items from them and have never had ANY problems with them what so ever. The service has always been great. The only one's you are hearing from are the ones that are pissing and moaning. You never see the positive postings just the negative garbage. It appeared in Eternal_Reign's posting that Dan the owner of Vivid Racing was more than willing to try to make right the problem(s). Try calling the folks @ Vivid and make your own decision. If you trust half the complaints from the postings on this or any other web site no one would ever buy anything from anyone. Just go to any automotive site and read the postings. There are either questions or complaints about the vehicle or on how they are treated so unfairly buy the dealer, manufacturer, after market vendors, the police, their boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse, the weather man, the guy driving down the street either in front of them or behind them, etc. It is good to get others opinions but some people around here have an axe to grind because of a bad experience. Not everyone on this site has an axe to grind.

I know some that have had multiple bad experiences with Vivid, and also some that are regular satisfied customers. I'm not nessecarily trying to tell you guys they're out to rob you. They are a successful and growing company, so they must be doing something right. I just don't care much for their buisness ethics, which in my opinion is the heart of any company. Not the type of people I like to deal with. But of course, to each his own.

okay, since I do take chances buying off from eBay, I shouldn't have any problems taking chances on Vivid. I just hope they can really satisfy my needs. All inputs are much appreciated

Everytime you email vivid, they always tell you to 'call them'. You kind of have to wonder why they even have an email address.
BTW vivid has screwed me on more than 1 occasion, so I too say don't buy stuff from vivid racing.

I've had a bad experience that still has not been resolved. Why are e-mails being ignored. You said your were going to refund my card for a ALK I ordered that I never received. I have my order # and all the e-mails in which your company told me I would either receive the refund or excuses why I have not received the part. I also posted my ordeal under "Bad experience with Vivid Racing."
Mr Dan Mermelstein, if you company is trying as hard as you really say, why have I not heard any response. I am more than willing to get my situation resolved if your company is too.

a lot of complaints about vivid. I have contacted them with questions a few times and they never help much.
I'd say give Gruppe-S a note or maybe MPJ. Both of those places are very open with information and price things very fairly. Very cool guys...buying my exhaust from mpj in the spring.

I guess there are no serious concerns about Vivid Racing. I started a slot for them in the Reviews section of i-Club and nobody has posted anything good or bad about Vivid.
