yeah the spi car was nice...im 14...so cant drive obviously...i have a lot of friends with modified cars and plus i wanted to know what everyone thought...when i was 11 i wanted a black wrx with orange and yellow fire all around...now im not so sure...a sleeper would be really nice also...when i do get the wrx...its probably going to be black (maybe blue)...silver wheels and moretts...stock spoiler and carbon fiber if its black...until i get a lot of power out of it i want no exterior mods except for wheels...then when its 240+ WHP maybe decals and a custom paint job

yup! Decals sometmes calls out too much attention... you'll get scratched in parking lots from envious idiots, cops will tend to pick you, and of course.. you're calling out to thieves!
OH, IF you do put decals please put decals of ACTUAL products thats installed in the car! hehehe

i think they are ghey, but to each his own. i prefer a simple, clean look, nothing but the lines and shape of the car to look at. i love the old school body kits that accented the lines of the car, not the new school ones that just try to be the baddest **** of a front bumper on the road.

Damn awns729, you wanted a WRX at 11?! I didn't know dick about cars until after I actually owned one. At 11 I was playing Nintendo (8 bit), and happy I had a 10-speed! Besides, by the time your 16 your opinions may have changed a dozen times.
Oh yeah, and big splashy, flashy graphics reek of Fast & Furious! BTW, isn't that the Integra Ja Rule drove in F&F? "Nooo, Monica!!!"

vinyl tends to cost a lot.. i'd only sticker the car if stickers came cheap(friend/sponsor).. otherwise i'd keep stickers to the windows or front fenders only..
might also help if ur car is in the garage as much as possible.. so little punks cant pick off or rearrange the letters.. unsure about the time for stickers to cause "sun tan lines" from constant sun exposure..
and if u do have vinyl.. u'll have to be extra careful about washing & drying ur car... carefully rubbing around each sticker..

You can be considered a ricer regardless of how fast you go. It boils down to what you want from the car. That's always the first step anyway, deciding what your goal for the car will be.
If you want to put it in shows and dress it all up, then I suppose stickers are appropriate. If you don't want to show it, but you want a lot of attention (be prepared for both good AND bad!) then still go for it. If you want a nice ride that most anyone can be impressed with and appreciate, go a different route. You can still give a car "presence" without looking clownish.
I belong to a car club full of Cobra's, and you asked what we think when we see that stuff on the street? We laugh.
I usually leave imports alone on the streets, but when I see one like that, I just have to go mess with them. On the other hand, when I see an import with classy mods, stylish without going overboard, and well kept/cleaned then I give them the respect I feel they deserve. I've said on numerous occasions as I've been driving around, "Damn, now THERE'S a nice (whatever car), they did a great job on that."
Now my opinion may not matter, and to be honest, it SHOULDN'T. This car will be yours. Something you have a dream for, and something you will be sinking your hard earned money into. Make sure you do, whatever you decide to do, for yourself and not other people.
