sorry for the 3 posts in a row...but i was thinking. he seems to like carbon fiber...if you seen his bike, you'd know. are there any CF pieces around that aint too expensive? no hoods or hood scoops...already seen those would be too much. i dunno. this would be much easier if he had a Nissan or he'd let me get a Subaru! Do you think the bank would give an 18yr old a 20k loan? haha...

I would stay away from the CF stuff. A CF hood is sorta useless on the WRX and I'm not sure what other parts you could cheaply purchase that would both look good and reduce weight...

yeah. he's got a bunch...but outside his car, me and him have nothing to talk about...so yeah. i dunno. im thinkin about getting him a sti hood scoop, painted side skirts or just some wrx toys and gadgets. and im looking at all that stuff from suboobaruwrsex..

they look pretty nice, but only if ya got the whole CF hood and scoop going IMO. ah well, the STi CF markers *non aero shape*

how about a nitro radio controlled version of his impreza? you can get it for 280 ....or the electric is much less, i dont know exactly how much though...they both require you to buy some extra stuff...
for the gas version 30 for a remote and maybe 30-40 for a startup kit...+some AA batts maybe
for the electric i dont know if you need a sepereate remote or if its included but: 30 remote, 25 battery and charger....+AA batts

if you go to www.gruppe-s.com then go to the Subaru Suspension section you can get the Front sway bars or the Cusco underbody braces (lower arm bars). Look to see if he has the STi top mounts since he has the whole suspension.
