my friend is going to suffer back problems for the rest of his life because he wore his seatbelt. his brother flew out the window and walked away without a problem.
somehow, i don't see my chances like that. i wear my seatbelt everytime. espicially when my gf drives. then i hold on for dear life.

automotive myths die hard.what speed would you have to be going for a seat belt to cut a body in 2? people due risky things all the time but i have never heard of a smoker tell others that somking will be safer than not smoking. i used my seat belts long before it was a law. i have been at salvage yards looking for car parts and have seen peices of brains scalp and skull stuck into the windshield glass. my son was in a major head on acident, other driver crossed the center line, and still ate the stering wheel. if he was not wearing the belt he would not be alive today.
