Car wouldn't start
for the first time since i got my car, more than 2 months ago, it didn't want to start.
here's what happened:
i went to go grab some food at wendys, then drove to the gas station to gas up. got some gas. when i tried to start the car, it wouldn't turn over. just got maybe a 1/4 turn and a whole bunch of clicks. didn't know what it was. the gas station ended up breaking out an emergency jumper box thing and jumped my battery, and it worked fine. i drove it home to pick up my other car and went out.
this morning, i popped the hood, and too my surprise, the battery is frozen to the battery tray. something, possibly water, was frozen in the tray keeping the battery from moving. i'm pretty sure this isn't normal. i got a car wash 2 weeks ago, but i don't think the water just miraculously found its way to the battery tray. there's are high and low levels marked on my battery(which is somewhat translucent) and the liquid level inside seems to be right at the low level line. could my battery have a leak? i don't know what's going on.
any input at all would be helpful, thanks.
btw, i think it's the factory battery, i couldn't find a production date mark on it. and i have a MY00 RS, so i think it's pretty old.
