Can dealer reprogram ECU?
Hey,
I've had the usual clutch problems with my car for the past 4K. When I brought it into the dealer I get either "We couldnt find a problem", "Thats common", or "Are you sure your giving it enough gas". As far as I know they have not opened up anything to look for signs of this common problem... Well, I took it back when my CEL came on. The car felt like it would misfire every now and then after the light came on. Just my luck though the light turned off the day before I brought it in (it was on for at least 4 days prior). When I brought it tao the dealership they said there were no codes in the ECU. The CEL has not come on since (the bulb is good) but I swear I still feel this misfire. I get it when Im cruising at normal highway speed with a full tank. So can the dealer reprogram the ECU to not light the CEL when there is a failure?
Thanks!!!
Craig
