you see why i am torn, both excellent point that i myself have brought up. black has the stealthy look, mean but you cant see the body curves
silver on the other hand cant notice scratches as much, can see the body, igives it a sophisticated look. hmmmm lol

silver.
black is a little better looks-wise i think... but black shows EVERYTHING ---> any little spec of dirt, every scratch no matter how small, chips... ask anyone who owns a black car how hard it is to keep clean and nice looking. although around here (CT) where it snows and stuff im sure its a lot worse. if you live in a climate with little snow and rain then its probably not as big a deal, but i'd still go with the silver. keeps the car cooler too...

I have a silver RS and a Black Outback. The silver looks clean way longer than black. Black when clean looks very sweet I admit but that only lasts about a half hour after you clean it. I say go with silver.

Ummm...i agree with the guy who said white...hehe.
Seriously though, if you are obsessive about your car, black shows dings and scratches the worst. Dont get me wrong, black is gorgeous when clean and shiney, but IT WILL show scratches and swirlmarks much more than any other color. A tough decision have you!

silver
I went with silver because the blue is too extreme, the red and white look plain and the black is hard to keep clean.
I even had to look hard and long to find the nice extra door dings that the body shop gave me. So I guess it hides dings well too
