Exclamation AWNS729 F I N A L L Y got his license!!!!!!!

Yup! Well actually, I have to wait 6 months from when the learners permit was issued to be able to drive alone, which is Feb 5th. But, I hear I'm allowed to drive to work/school with my limited junior license, since I just passed my road test on Monday! When Feb 5th rolls around (Junior license) I'll be rockin' the 98 Outback Wagon!

how do you have 4500 posts and have never even had a drivers license before? have you ever driven a car before a couple months ago? Do you like do carting or something?

Actually I don't know if Random thoughts posts count towards the post count? I don't think they do.

But to answer your question, 100s of newb questions, post whorage, and hoesntly, way too much free time.

And nope, haven't been driving for even 6 months yet.

Thanks guys! Can't wait to actually drive alone.

On a side note, I'm actually looking at this amazing Saab 9-3 Vector that's way too much for a first car but it's soooo beautiful.

lol well all teh subies i really want, i can't afford. maybe a used legacy or something, i have no idea. but actually i just got raped by my parents the other day. im sitting in the car with them on the way to a store listening to my mp3 player. my mom insists i take lessons for highway driving, and i argue that it wouldn't be worth the time and money because good instructor are hard to find, and even then i'd rather just go with my dad. so they start yelling at me haha and my mom mentioned me driving alone in teh future and my dad said something like "ohhh thats not going to happen for a longggggg time." so that kind of crushed that little hope i had of getting a car anytime soon. lol i was going to bring that up actually on the way back from teh store too, but after that i didn't really feel there was even any point to it.

so im thinking i save up and buy me a ford pinto or something. hah.

I owned 2 (one at a time) Ford Pinto Runabouts while I was in high school. They are super fly rides. I put a nice sound system in the second. Had 4 tens bumpin' in the hatch back. Sweet. Oh, and both were a nice bright yellow.

PS. They dont land very softly after a jump. I lived in Sac back then and there was a parking lot with an elevation change of about 2 feet and looked like a nice ramp. Well I cracked the oil pan on landing. So just imagine how far 5 quarts of oil will spread out in a parking lot on a nice hot summer day. Plus I was cutting school, so the phone call to my dad to come get me was a bonus.
