another newbie, plus a question ;)

Hey guys whats up? Just got my 03 silver wrx about 2 weeks ago.. Cant believe i didnt find this site b4 now.. Anyway, cant get enough of this car... Amazing thrust coming from a 4 banger.. What would u say would be the most noticable mod to start with on the car.. I have seen the other posts on this, but they conflict too much with thoughts which sounds about right but... I am humbly fixing up my car slowly.. which means one mod at a time...slowly... Can u put an up pipe or down pipe on to the stock system? Anything that i could notice of one mod, and be content till the next mod... which will be miles down the road...Help...Thanks in advance!!!!

Don't mean to be ignorant but what do you mean by snorkle? If I am thinking correctly snorkels are on cars which go into water so it can breath air into the engine and not flood it..? If I am mistaken please correct me..I'm still trying to learn as much as possible about wrx's :-)

What he means is the silencer that resides in the fender, most call it the "Snorkus" Have a look here:

maybe get lighter pulleys(better throttle response-revs faster, HP/torque gain)...an MBC(manual boost controller), exhaust, intake, BOV(blow-off valve), wheels, strut bar(front first-reduces understeer), whiteline anti-lift kit
