I have 2 kids. They love my car as much as I do. My wife doesn't mind. We'll see after the suspension is done what she says.

I have a daughter and have had three car seats in the back for school field trips. No problemo. Like -j- says tho' it's all about the suspension.

i've fit 2 car seats and used the middle seat belt... carried 3 in the back safely. i wouldn't recommend that for long trips though. the wrx is perfect for those looking into performance family sedans. IMO of course.

although i would not recommend that this be your only car. being that my wife has a wrx and i the STi- we sometimes need seating for 5-7 people.. and end up taking 2 cars... for our needs we want a minivan.

^^^hahaha that's funny, we traded our minivan and honda prelude into to you at kaneohe subaru to get the one wrx! I miss my mini van and sad to say my husband misses his prelude sometimes! mini vans are good to have with the kids and their friends!

I have a 4-year old and a 2-year old. We do okay with the 2 child seats in the back. I have a sedan, so the 3rd (upper) tethers attached pretty easily on the back deck. If you have a wagon and use the 3rd teathers, you may find that the 3rd teathers intrude a little in the hatch area (they attach to the floor in the wagon).

The WRX is mostly used for weekend trips once in a while as it's a bit cramped. Since the kids are pretty young, their legs tend to stick straight out and kick the back of the front seats. Seat covers do help with this though. In all other outings, we take the wife's SUV.
