Need some help fellow members and guests!
This could be easily searched on the topics, but I need dont have the time as of now.

1. What is 2004 Subaru WRX Impreza chassis code?

2. For JDM suspension, do complete coilover systems fit on both chassis codes GDA/GDB ?

3. I know that the 03 compared to the 04 Subarus have different rear top mounts? When does this matter? When you just install springs? and

4. if you get complete coilover systems, would they both fit on an 03 Sube and an 04 Sube?

Please anyone give me some correct answers and some more info wouldnt hurt.

2. Not sure. It's probably product specific.

3. I think the top mounts are different all around. This I believe is where the strut mounts - the spring simply surrounds the strut, so top mounts shouldn't be a concern with springs only.

4. If you buy coil overs, you'll need to make sure they work with the top mounts you have. I think you can interchange the top mounts between the model years but you need the top mounts that are specific to the suspension bits you need.

I'm still learning myself, so this may not be 100% accurate (and I'm sure someone who is 100% accurate will correct me if that's the case). You might get more, and better responses with this post in the suspension forum.
