Look at the old tires. If the front's or rear's are significantly more worn than the opposite axle it means the tires have not been properly rotated. This can put stress on the center differential over time.
Subaru's tend to feel a little rough at idle due to the boxer configuration of the engine, so that should be nothing to worry about.

Other than that, just normal car stuff...does it leak fluids, etc...
