92 Loyale Wagon
I have read through the forums looking for anything to do with a loyale, but unfortunatly there isn't much. I am in the market for an RS but I have a loyale with a cracked head sitting next to my house that I am getting ready to sell, but after reading a lot on here I decided to give it a second look before I sell it.
I was just wondering how hard it would be to swap in an EJ20 or one of the EJ22's out of a Legacy Turbo. Or is it even worth trying?
Any help would be great, because it would be sick to have such a sleeper car.
BTW, its an automatic and it has the selectable AWD.

If you're really interested in building the Loyale back up, try going to www.usmb.net (or org?) where they have WAY more experience with older Subarus. There are significant differences between the Impreza, Legacy, and Forester we discuss here, and the previous models like the Loyale and GL. FWIW, you could put an EJ20 or EJ22 into it, but it would be more difficult as almost nothing would be plug-and-play.
