I have about 4k miles on my car. As soon as i hit 1000 miles, i drove my car pretty hard. I put in synthetic oil at 3k. All i have done "performance" wise is a Turboxs RFL bov. Now what i am concerend about is, should i stop driving my car hard? I dont drive it hard everyday since i am at school and drive about 5 miles during the week. however, when i come home on the weekends, i drive pretty hard. I mean i dont feel that there is anything wrong with the car.... Am i being dumb by driving hard at times under 10k miles???

 

i hope not. ive been driving the snot out of mine since break in.

id say as long as you took it easy up till 1000 miles you will be fine!

 

That's what the car is built for...to be driven hard. (so long as you don't power shift and dump the clutch at every stoplight)
