they FIRED the bugeye designer? I'm sorry but thats just ****ed up... couldnt they just ask him for a different direction? they are the ones who approved it, they then turned around and fired him? Thats f-ed up....
Maybe im just biased because I like to design cars too, i cant imagine a boss coming up to me and saying.. hey, uhh, you that one design? "um yeah the one YOU APPROVED>?" yeah, that one... youre ummm, fired for it...
wtf is that?
bleh, anyway
Those pics in the mag look kinda hot... but imo the door shapes, windows, etc, are still 02-06, they need to slicken that up and not just the front and rear panels.. this is just one major facelift above... and the grille is EXACTLY an 06 grille, im sure if that design above was real those would have been carved out more aggressively to match the front/rear lines

The BMW dude? Haha, Sin, you might find this interesting, Ive already signed...

You know youve F-ed up designs when Sergio Mendez hops on his computer to sign this waiver... haha
Personally, I cant say I really dislike BMW designs, I just find them unprogressive/unmatured/unevolved? and instead SO different that they quickly tire from the eye... Only ones I think are really hot are the 6's and the Z4 coupes... All the rest have been F-ed up in some prison style fashion
I wish they were not so radical, but more aggressive, hard to explain, ive done some REALLY nice renditions of what BMWs should be looking like nowadays.. but again thats my opinion

Subaru Plant in Lafayette, IN:
I go to Purdue University, West Lafayette... maybe 5 miles away from the plant. I've been the plant before, and I think it's great that WRX is going to be built there.. their line up of Legacys, Tribecas, Outbacks is HUGE... not to mentionin building some Toyotas (Hondas?) there..
All in all I think it's a great plant.. But.
I guarentee 99% of the cars that are built in the winter times.. will experience beyond cold conditions (snow/ice/hail)... so I don't know how good that is for the freshly painted.. so whether that is a factor in your decision.. you might wanna consider?

I have seen some spy photos in the current issue of Automobile Magazine of a "replacement" Z8, and I must say, it looks pretty sweet. If it came from Bangle's hands, he must've been drinking.

Current corvette:
LS2
400 hp/400 tq
six spd tranny
18city/28hwy mpg
and the weight you ask? 3,179 lbs. Yes, there are some problems. But, all cars have at least 1 recall problem.
From just the stats, it looks like a good car to me.
