2008 Impreza Tire Pressure Gauges

Hello,

My stock wheels were stolen off of my 2008 Impreza, so I got an aftermarket set, but they are missing the TPS sensors that go inside the tires, so the annoying TPS light is on.

I know there is no way to disable the TPS, or to turn off that annoying dash light.

So i decided to try to buy the sensors and have them installed. has anyone done this? if so, where did you get this done and how much did it cost. I see the sensors are quite expensive on ebay, and I didn't want to buy the wrong ones if I'm spending a few hundred to fix this

Thank you,
Chuck

I haven't done it yet, but I plan to. Depending on which tire shop you go to, you can get the sensors installed for ~$10 each wheel. Then you need to go to the dealership and have them program the new sensor signal into your TPMS. Not sure if they charge for that or not.

You can find Subaru sensors if you just keep an eye out in the classifieds. I was able to get a set for $100. I have no idea about the compatibility of third party sensors.
