I am new to the club.

I bought a 04 STI on Monday

If I can figure out how to get a picture attached I will.

I was wondering if there are any quirks and or suggestions out there in regards to my new toy .

Today someone parked their silver STi next to my Rex. I was highly amused.

if only i had waited a couple months...the STi is an amazing machine no doubt, i own a 04 WRX and im jealous . Awesome car treat her right!

 

Put the extra coin you saved by NOT buying the STI into your WRX and see how disapointed you are

 

yea already thought of that...may even be cheaper wont take a whole lot to hit 300hp. I'm still new to the imported car world so i dont know alot but what i've seen and heard and currently know first hand of kinda blows my mind. I'm comin from drivin a 80 Cutlass w/350 rocket some money into it but its such a heavy car only way to make it fast is buy a 454 w/supercharger. I'm likin the small light car w/turbo, handles 1000% better on corners.

 

I'm new to all this as well. Sounds like we're in the same boat. My wife is wanting an auto WRX, so I've been nosing around to see how I can tinker with it. I've got a 2003 Cobra, and the supercharger on that is so easy to pull HP from that I can't picture paying the same amount of money for the STI no matter how well it does in the bad weather. There's a whole lot more straight dry road here in Arkansas then there are snow drifts.

 

Yeah, I have to be careful in the rain. The TC handles it fairly well, but not great.
