im wondering why no other company has tested this...maybe cuz they loose profit somehow?

Exactly! Besides, I've been visiting spdusa.com for about 3 years, and I've talked with Mike Shields via e-mail and he is a realist. He knows his stuff, and won't sell you junk that won't help you, or you don't need.

Nice to see all of the thoughful replies. My military b/g was as an engineman/diesel USN, where turbos and s/chargers were standard equipment. Also, envision a jet engine or steam turbine engine: the highest pressure point is at the smallest aperture: as the pressure drops, the turbine blades get larger in diameter and width. (On some steam turbines I worked on, the last stage was actually under a vacuum to extract the last bit of expansion of the steam). It's same principle for air. The WRX turbo, though, has just one size essentially, so putting high pressure in and getting lowest pressure out it what makes it GO best, and Mr. Bernoulli is right!
