yea i used to love the fast corners and windy roads, i drove a highly modified honda prelude type SH that could out handle any subaru, the problem is sooner or later ill catch up with ya, i totaled my prelude last month going too fast around a corner, its safer to go fast in a straight line(in a controlled envoronment) thats why i bought a WRX

That's sad that you bought a WRX to go in a straight line.
Ummm...ever heard of "Track Days" and "Driving Schools"? You run on a real race track with s lot of turns. Thats where you "go fast around" a corner and enjoy the twisties. That fact that you were drivng too fast on the street and totaled your car...well...that's just your fault. There are lots of other ways to enjoy high speed driving than on the street.

Driving school? um i work 60+ hours a week, dont get me wrong i love taking a tight corner and feeling the G's that why i got lowering springs and super stick tires on my wrx, I just dont push it like i did my prelude. Ya i know its my fault that i wrecked my lude, it doesnt mean i cant drive, i did road race, but its just those back country roads will catch up to ya when u keep pushing the limits and your driving skills

road racing is not on public roads
road racing is road circuit racing. Which you have to be officially licensed to do, on a real racetrack, with a real racecar, against other real racecar drivers.
not driving like a jackass on public roads.

oh and if you think tuning isnt a big deal in road racing, how do you think Mazda NA 2.0l commuter car engines are tuned to over 265hp under a pretty strict ruleset? How do you think the same World Challenge mazdas, as well as 325s and Integras can run faster laps on street tires than SCCA tube frame purpose built cars on racing slicks? The setup, tuning, and some amazing drivers.
Road racing is the whole package. engine tuning, chassis tuning, and driving.
