That Impreza looks like the old one that had its face smeared up... Like what that bug guy did to that guys face in the first part of Men In Black....

If that's what its going to look like I'll take one.

You all seem to forget how much everyone hated the bug eyes, now you have tons of die hards that love them.

I think that new style looks a lot more aggressive than the 04-05. A bit more upscale too, which is what I imagine Subaru is really trying to do.

 

I don't think any of us are driving imprezas because of the beautiful exteriors.

If only subarus looked as good as audis, sigh.

 

Ya, but it looks like an Alfa Romeo Impreza, not Subaru. I didn't like the bug-eyes, but at least it was from Subaru..

hmm ya thats tru.. the 911s.. totally forgot.. I think the 944s too? The ones with the "pop up" bug eyes..

Anyways, i like the GC8 imprezas best, but i'll take the Sti on our shores now. I just don't like the idea that they hired somebody from another car company (especially a designer) to do the facelift. They should have let him do the total redesign...

very true, and i totally agree. people just don't like change. i read a fast company article on how car manufacturers are purposely putting out controversial designs. sure the design might turn off some of its fan base but it will generate interest from people that normally wouldnt be interested.

I liked it.. When they changed the old Supra to the newer style, the older Z to the 90's 300ZX, etc.. The R32 to the R33 (but not to R34)... The EVO 3 to the EVO4...

I just don't like it when they start resembling other cars... But most every car company copies from everybody else anyways now-a-days so that might be moot point....

And now, we have Subaromeo... Great... just great... Although the bug eyes was on the neon and porsche first, at least that subaru (though god ugly) was unique and from Subaru designers, not ones who were hired in from other car companies....
