subaru is heading into new ground here in the u.s.... a more premium market.... seems like they won't really be playing ball with nissan, toyota, mitsubishi(w/1 exception) and honda.... their sights seem to be aimed a lil higher.
i'm eager to get back in the saddle with subaru again(in a few months) that grill was definitely hideous... after seeing it in person it makes me think twice about keeping my 04.
it's weird because they make you hate the front but entice you with extras..it's a sick sick thing i tell you

I don't know if mine is any faster than the '05. I test drove a black '05 a week before I bought the '06 and was impressed with both...or at least I was as impressed as I could be while trying not to give the sales person a heart attack.

I ordered my 2006 wrx wagon (black) a few days ago. Paid 23000 OTD. Since I am in the military I don't have to pay sales tax. Life is good!!! It was sort of funny that the dealership I went to didn't even have any 2006 brochures and did not know too much about the 2006 features...it didnt really matter any way since I didnt pick up any options. The car comes nicely loaded anyway. I should receive the car in 2 months. The wait is killing me.
