the tuner ready model seems kinda cheesy though (alittle too rice for me). i always thought the basic wrx was a great place to start modding? one thing i'm not clear about; are the regular wrx's gonna have rear wings at all or will you have to spend extra on the luxury model?

Dealers don't have all that info yet.

It's almost like deja vu.
Man I wish we could have sold those 04's-05's. I guess subaru should have just stuck with the bugeyes

I just went up to Timmons Subaru in long Beach. They had a black '06 STI. It was very nice. They said they sold a '06 WRX the day it came in. I have talked to this salesman before and he says the low end torque is amazing. Now he's mad he bought a '05 last month Dam it they are going to make me trade in my '04 wagon. They say the all new WRX will be out in 'o7 so I will wait to see that. Then I will get my next car.

I just read a review of the '06 Forester XT. Even though it has more power(230hp like the '06 WRX) it about a half a second slower. The mag says it's because the tranny has different ratios in 2nd thur 5th. They say it's to improve the MPG. But, it takes more time to get in the power band. Does anyone know if the '06 WRX uses the same tranny and the forester?

subaru is heading into new ground here in the u.s.... a more premium market.... seems like they won't really be playing ball with nissan, toyota, mitsubishi(w/1 exception) and honda.... their sights seem to be aimed a lil higher.
i'm eager to get back in the saddle with subaru again(in a few months) that grill was definitely hideous... after seeing it in person it makes me think twice about keeping my 04.
it's weird because they make you hate the front but entice you with extras..it's a sick sick thing i tell you

saw my first 06
after seeing someone post a pic of an 06 with a manufacturer plate i dont know why i didnt think of going to subaru corporate in cherry hill nj and checking out the rides in the parking lot. i live 5 mins from there so i cruised by today and saw a bunch of 06's. they look sweet. the new wheels and calipers really make the car. the leather interior on the limited is sweet. i was pretty much set on rally blue with black leather but after seeing it in red w/ beige perforated leather now im not so sure. anyway i forgot my camera, ill try to go by again and take some pics. they look awesome. i like the new front and the tailights are sweet too. cant wait to order my new wrx and trade in my honda.
