The only thing I like about the '04 that I don't like about the '03 is the sunroof option. I do actually like the overall look of the '03 better though, and since power output doesn't change (save for the STi), I'm happy with my car.

One thing to keep in mind is that those pictures are of the Japanese model, which uses reflector fog lamps. The US model will have smaller, projector lamps. I put down a deposit on my 04. It should be coming at the end of this month. I'm getting it at invoice which they don't have exact numbers for yet but it can't be more than a few hundred more than the 03's. I'm willing to take the gamble. I've even heard rumors that it might be less than 03 invoice but I doubt it. If you really want an 04, put down a deposit cause you'll get it cheaper than off the lot and you'll get it exactly the way you order it. I believes it takes about 2 months to order (they assemble it in Japan). Each dealer has different times of the month to order cars so I suggest if you want the 04, get down to your dealer and start asking.

also...im getting mixed reviews on this sunroof thing...is getting a sunroof gonna hurt performance noticeably? dont they weight about 50 pounds? what do you guys think?
