04 WRX moonroof
Has anyone seen an 04 WRX with the moonroof option? I went to all 3 subaru dealers in San Deigo and no one has an 04 with a moonroof option. I talked to one the sales guy and he said that there might have been a problem with the moonroof or something that is delaying the cars with this option.

Yep. I've got one. Java with the "premium" package. I really like sunroofs simply to lighten the interior. My complaints with it include 1. it is kind of small 2. alot of wind noise when open 3. drops the interior headroom by more than in inch. My dad is 6'1 and is kind of scraping the top. I have not had any problems, but it has a quirky "stop half way when closing" so you have to press the button twice. It is normal, according to the manual, but it does not say why...

Eh, not too fond of them just for the reasons...it adds a lot more weight to the car so the performance will lag a little, and if I were to take my future wrx(i hope i get it in 2004) on to a semi-prorally they wouldn't let me because it's a safety hazard.

I had a sliding sunroof in my SE-R. I can say that i only used it a handful of times in the 5 years I owned my car. It sounded cool to say that I had one, but they really dont do a lot. I wont bother paying extra for one again. Personally I dont feel its as great as some ppl think (my .02)... a convertible WRX though, now your talkin'
