Update on Allstate Insurance
Allstate does NOT have pricing in the system for the STi yet. I know cause I just stared at the blank screen in my allstate agent's office. They have the pricing for everything but the STi. The cars are listed in their system as WRX, RS, TS, WRX Wagon, and STi. The $700 price quote that was given on an earlier thread is probably the price for a regular WRX sedan. The odds are that we all call it the WRX STi and the average agent just looks it up as a WRX. My rate on a WRX would be $700, and using the price alone for the STi he figured $800. I have a good relationship with my agent, both from wrecking a car and both being Flyers Fans. He actually showed me the screens and there is nothing there for the STi yet, other than how the Vin sequence starts. This all could change at any moment, and he said that once the price is released to the press they will probably have a real number.

I'm also insured with Allstate and we have multiple cars on the same policy. What was the deductible for the $700 quote?
I plan on having a $1000 deductible on my STi when I get it.
i'm also over 25 with a clean driving record, with like 9 years of driving experience.
i wonder how my rates are gonna be?

Car Info: 1996 Subaru Impreza (outback)
I sat infront of the screen with my agent too.
The WRX was ( I am looking at it right now) 644.70 with 500 deduc., 100/300 bodily injury, 100/300 uninsured motorist...
The STi wa sin the computer, but not ALL information. He went on the est. price of the car which I told him was @32k.
.. for the same coverage on the STi he ESTIMATED $750. perhaps even a little lower cuz I am on the homeowner policy as well.
like i said before, just estimates...but promising.

The Deductable was $500.
But, the one thing that I forgot to mention is that I carry higher $ amounts of coverage than is normal. Most TSD rallies require high levels of coverage than the standard minimum that keeps the rates low, so I'm pretty much forced to carry it. So there is a good chance My rates would be exactly the same as you got quoted Joe if I didn't have the higher dollar amounts.
BTW, the only reason I got to stare at the screen is because I got signed up for a new policy today that cut my rates almost in half from when I signed up at the ripe age of 19 with three tickets and one totaled car. Its amazing the benefits you get when you have a clean driving record and a perfect credit rating!
