To those that have installed a CD Player....
....In your STi, Did it have any of the wiring needed for the install? I want to put a OEM Subaru CD Player in my STi. Just need an idea of what I'm looking at and what all I have to buy.

I installed the stock Subaru 6-disc changer in my STi, and all wiring was there! What speakers are you thinking about going with?

No problems, but if you get the upgrade OEM speakers they don't come with the mounting stuff(clips/screws) needed so you'll have to make your own. The tweater upgrades do come with the mounting clips/screws.

The only problem with the aftermarket stuff is for the ones that don't come with spacers/brackets, you have to make your own.
Therefore the stock speakers are the most hassle-free speakers to install.

Did you ever get the OEM stereo in? If so, how does it sound? I'm still grappling with what to get?

......But I'm having all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled this friday. So I'll need a few days to recover before the install. I'll post up with some pictures and how it went, in about a week.
And no I'm not that Dan.
