STi autocross alignment?
I’ve done a search on this and I’ve seen a couple of different ideas on this. I’m new to AWD and have no clue as to how I should set up the car. Have any of you experimented with the alignment enough to help me out? I’m leaning towards trying about 1.2 to 1.5 negative front with zero toe and max negative in the rear, whatever that may be. I honestly don’t know if I’m in the ballpark with this or not. I’m not in the least bit concerned with tire wear on the street. What I’d love to know is how you guys would align your cars if you were running at nationals. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

that sounds pretty much in the ballpark to me. i'm running STi suspension on my WRX with similar camber settings and it works pretty well. i don't think you'd want to exceed about -2 in the front, but i could be wrong.

Curiosity....
Not to Hijack here, but....
I will be tracking my STI mostly, and was wondering how peoplo were setting up the rear camber. From what I know, people tend to put more rear camber for autocross than track driving. This is what I knew of the 02/03. I was wondering if DCCD set to rear would encourage track STI's to run more negative rear camber.
Any input would be helpful.
Thanks,
Kevin

-1.5 front, -1 rear camber. 0 toe all around. Sounds about right. You dont neccesarily want MAX rear camber, because eccessive rear camber equates to more understeer and you dont want understeer for autox.

Thanks for the info guys. Kostamojen, that makes sence and I should have thought of it. Most of my autoXing has been in RWD. several years in a Miata, 3 years in a tail happy S2000, and a year + in a B mod formula car. Understeer and AWD is really different.
