DOH! that was me on crack, showing my 1st. grade adding skills.
Gruppe-s has them for $425 a rim. so it should be $1700 and for some reason I was thinking 4 x 325 by mistake. sorry about that.....
I got together with 2 other people and got a special price of $400 a rim. I am quite happy with them. I even bought a set of these centercaps for them:

Center Caps
Stratos,
Did the STi/Volk center caps come from Gruppe-S too ?
If not, can you tell me where you got them.....I think they look better than the generic Volk caps.
Thanks,
Bill.

BBS RG-R are such awesome wheels.. I wish they'd fit..
Also, what is the proper size for R18? 235/40? or 245/40?

If the original size is 225/45/17 (e.g. STi for 17x7.5" rims) then the correct size change for 18x7.5" is 225/40/18 (same rolling radius, no speedo error) i.e. wheels get larger in diameter and tires get narrower so the overall combined diameter stays the same.
Not sure what you can get away with in terms of tire width before you start running into fender rubbing problems.
If I'm unsure I usually go to TireRack's website and play around with their wheel selection guide.....tells you what size tires are optimum for your particular vehicle as you change wheel size.
As far as the RG-Rs are concerned, they do fit the WRX, but not the STi. However, I think the BBS RS-GTs (two-piece version of the RG-Rs) are available for the STi, at least according to the BBS-Japan website (I'd certainly confirm proper fitment with someone in the know before ordering these, however):
BBS RS-GT,
Type 931
Size 18x8"
ET=40
H/PCD = 5x100
Bore = PFS
Weight = 9.1 kg (20.0 lbs)
Available in gold, silver and diamond black)

Car Info: 2016 CWP WRX
hey guys
volk for sure has the best selection that clear the brakes. BOZZWRX from Bozz Performance in freakmont ca. has CE28N's in 17x8.5/52 ET and only had to roll the rear fender to fit 255/40's. the car looks insane and handles REALLY well with that much rubber on the road.
A +45 ET w/ 245's will fit with fender trimming/rolling on a +45 ET. Imprezer has Advan RC II's with 245's on his and has tons of room where he trimmed the fenders. both cars look and handle very nicely.
for the person who doesnt want to trim or get that wild, 17x8 with a 48-52 offset should fit. Volk has a chart in its catalog that specifies what sizes fit the Brembos. If anyone needs that info, let me know and I will post size/offset/model.
anyway, there will be a better selection soon for the STi. personally the CE28 or the ADVAN RG/RC2's would be my wheels of choice. insanely light and VERY strong.

Volk model/size/offset for STi
Volk has a chart in its catalog that specifies what sizes fit the Brembos. If anyone needs that info, let me know and I will post size/offset/model.
If you could supply this info. it would be really useful. Mackin promised to send me the Volk Racing wheel brochure, but never did (nice customer service), and it's a real pain trying to decipher stuff on the Japanese website. Plus. some of their rims are limited edition for 2003 and might be difficult to come by.
The models I'm interested in are LE28N, LE37T, LE37A and the new GT-Us in either 17" or 18" (x7.5 or 8"). Obviously I want something to clear the Brembos without using spacers and I'd prefer the offset to be as close to optimum as possible (somewhere in the ET48 to 53 range). If you have weight info as well that would be even better.
Thanks.

Here is the menu of Volk wheels, click on a wheel and then on the "size table" to see which models fit over the Brembos.

Also, the stock STi wheels have a 53mm offset in 7.5 width.
