offset of STi wheels (and Volk dealers) ??
Anybody know what the standard offset for the USDM Sti wheels is (BBS 17 x 7.5").........should be embossed on the rim somewhere e.g. ET48, ET50 ????
Also can anyone recommend a reputable source for purchasing Volk's on-line......doesn't necessarily have to be the cheapest, but I want decent service and assurance that they'll arrive safely and in good condition etc.
Was looking at BBS RG-R rims for my winter wheels, but I've got a feeling that these aren't going to clear the Brembo 4-pots.
Thanks.

I don't know what the WRX offset is, but I got the 53mm right from one of the Subaru pdf files.

wheel offsets
Taken fom various sources, it looks like typical Suby offsets are:
7" rim offset = 53-55 mm
7.5" rim offset = 48-50 mm
8" rim offset = 45-48 mm
I think it's usually OK to be within a couple of mm either side of the optimum without running into problems.
Just to be on the safe side, I've e-mailed Rallispec. They sell the JDM spec. C wheels we're getting on the STi (BBS 10-spoke forged)....hopefully they can confirm the offset.

On the Sti spec sheet it says wheels are 17X7.5JJ So this is a 7.5" rim width with a 48-50mm offset but what about bolt pattern? This is the only remaining question for me when shopping for wheels.

The pattern is the standard Subaru 5x100 pattern.
Keep in mind some wheels won't fit due to the fact that the spokes won't fit past the Brembo brakes. You may want to wait til you have the car, especially if you want 17 inch.

Exactly. Subaru won't tell us anything either. Either wait til there are people who know what fits, or make sure you can return them and be prepared to eat the shipping costs if they have to go back.
I ordered OZ Prodrive P1's 18", I am hoping they fit, but if they don't I got them cheap enough on Ebay that I should be able to get my money back. If your like me and don't want to wait, find a deal like I did.
