You lucky basterd
You should really think about learning how to safely drive the car before you venture on street/track racing. This is no civic with 100 hp. If you have 20K to blow on mods, take some of it, like someone already said, and go to a racing/driving school. Believe me, it will pay in the long run.
Enjoy

essogas,
the only rim I have on any of the cars in GT3 is the Volk TE37s. Damn those rims go good with any car.

I hope a spelling test is not needed to drive the STI. It is amazing to me a parent would get a 16 year old a car like this.

I think that the 20k you had, should goto your footwork, audio system and aero kit for your car, safe the rest in bank for later, until you car break in ( 6K -8k I will perfer, unless you wanna get another car in the next 3-4 years.) or you can always go with your way ... just suggesting

im hoping for my STi to last for about 3 years because when i graduate form highschool which is in 2 years because i am a sophmore i am going to UTi which is in LA
and after that im going to tear down our bar inSan Leandro and turn it into a shop for me..becuase thats what i like to do...work on cars
but i after the 3-4 years i think i might go for an audi also...something luxery along with performance =)
just like everyone here, we cant wait until we get our hands on scooby...but dont think im just spoiled and get a STi along with some amount of cash...
ive been working at my parents meat store for about 4 years coming this summer which is in 2.5 months and i work every weekend and i will be working there until i go to UTi in LA... just to let u guys know so u dont think im a spoiled little |31T([]-[] =)

Dude .. you're still a spoiled little bizatch ... your parents need to teach you modesty ... why did you come on this random post just to tell us that you are going to spend $20k on parts for your new STi and that you are only 16? .... why do we care? ... I didn't randomly post that I'm 25 .... you only did it to brag.
Buy the car for you not to impress us. I was a spoiled 16 year old too. It's awfully young to get in a consumption race ... and please aspire to more than starting another generic tuning shop.

04STI is spoiled as hell, you think that by telling us you are going to be given a bar to turn into your own auto shop, it'll make us think that you are a hard worker or something. Look at what you said, you have a job working for your parents, (theres no way to make 50k+ working four years of weekends at a meat shop. Just admit your spoiled and move on.
Quit bragging and don't post again until you have something to say that contributes to the thread. Because you love to work on automobiles I'm sure you have plenty of technical advice for us all... oh wait you can hardly drive and you don't have a car. How does that work out?

by the way 04sti... driving an sti takes a lot of skills... you better not grind up the gear box and burn out the clutch.. or downshift into the wrong gear wen ur redlining. please just take kare of ur car ya.. and drive it real SAFE on the streets, that car is real fast so dont crash into anything in 1st gear cause it takes a lot of control, especially if u drive manual, and even more especially if u drive an STI!!!. sigh... youngsters these days are giving such crazy technology they just dont appreciate.. hope u appreciate this car! i mean appreciate appreciate appreciate.. and treat your parents with respect every second u talk to them. =)
p.s u lucky !@#$@#$%@#$%!!@#!@$#!@#

okay we all or most of us agree that he is fairly spoiled, but honestly he could be a lot worse trust me. Where I live it is not uncommon to see 16 year old rollin around in brand new M3's rimmed out and stuff and think they deserve it because they are a junior in high school and have straight B's. I mean this kid could just be telling us all to F*** off. Granted he might be bragging a little but hell I would be pretty hiped up too if I was told that I was getting all that stuff. I mean there is a kid that lives down the street from me who has a top of the line Avalanche custom lifted like 10 or 12 inches, with a full audio/visual set up, big rims and tires. By the way the kid just got his PERMIT. Trust me you have not seeeen spoiled.
