We are very pleased to announce the MSRP for the Subaru Impreza WRX STi will be $30,995. The vehicle will come with a choice of rally inspired gold painted wheels (DG 4JI) or silver painted wheels (HG 4JJ). 2004 Impreza line-up pricing and specifications reflecting the new Impreza WRX STi will be posted on Subarunet.com, in the Business/ Vehicles/ Vehicle Pricing Information section.
We look to the all-new Impreza WRX STi to further add to an already record setting sales performance in 2003, and further establish the Subaru brand as the leader in AWD performance.
Good Selling!

Aren't you the one who was worrying us about the price after you went to the show? I'll get you for that one

Well, I believe you but it's not proof ENOUGH for dealers in Canada. They don't even believe the American price and insist nothing has been said regarding the american price. As far as they (Canada) is concerened, they said anyone could have written that press release. I know most of you don't give two $hits about Canada but I thought I would post to the frustration I m going through. I need something that is posted on an official Subaru website!

Tell your dealer to call a US dealer. Tey'll tell him the US price. The Canadain price will be different, but the US price is for real.

Give me your / his email address. I will forward the email I got from SOA on. If that's not proof, I don't know what is.

Unforfunately, Subaru of Canada can charge 3 or 4 times what Subaru of America charges if they want. Hopefully they will come in close to the US price.

Then they should just be able to contact Subaru of America. Either way, you know the US price, so you know about how much your gonna pay. They'll get the info eventually, so don't worry about it.

Rudy... sending them an email won't "look" any different than what you posted above. Electronic mail is useless for providing proof because anyone could have written that or forge something similar (I know it's the truth but they don't) They need an official document photocopied or scanned or posted on SUBARU'S website.
However, I will tell them to contact those people on the memos at Subaru America and seewhat they tell them. I just can't believe Subaru US and Subaru canada would operate so differently.

I went to the subaru.net site but it's for dealers and you need a password to get in and check price. I think I'll send him that. do you have an email or phone number for any of those contacts on the memo?

No phone number. To tell you the truth, I am sure they know. They are just holding back till the official release date.
