Will the CDT CL-61A fit?

I want to buy the CDT CL-61A speakers from thezeb.com becuase they are only 150.00 but I think they are 2 7/8 inches deep. Will these fit with spacers and if so what size spacer will I need. thanks

They should fit with modifications. I know that someone here or in nasioc that has the same speakers in front. I have two pics proving it. Try a search on this speakers.

that car is an 04 sti using a set of www.iaperformance.com adapter rings. They are right on the edge of fitting.
