underseet sub opinion
Hello all,
I finally got my HU for my 04 baja turbo. I got a Pioneer Premier DEH-P760MP and the XM counterpart reciever. Now I need a little more low end to round out the sound. I don't have mutch room, lets face it, no room. So my options are for under the seet. I was actually abole to listen to a kenwood W00x a short time ago and wasn't too pleased with it. The Stock one is way too over priced for what you get, even the 100w one that is for the Baja T's Premium system.
So I have just found the clarion SRV303 and have found some customer reviews of it. They are all good, but i would like to know more. The specs are right in the ball park that I am looking for, something to fill in the low ends and not to raddle the car next to me.
So what say you all audiofiles? Best bang for the buck for something that goes under the seet, or is the stocker better?

Thank you,

If you are a bass nut, you choose the wrong car. :X
I myself am building a custom fiberglass enclosure to sit behind the driver side fender in the trunk.
Do you know the dimensions under the passenger seat? The WRX doesn't give much space, otherwise I was going to get the powered sub that infinity has.
If you feelin like starting a project, you could build a fiberglass box and mount the amp underneath the passenger seat.

one often forgotten thing is the AURA's BASS SHAKERS.
these are bass tranducers. instead of moving air, it shakes.
so mount these under your seat on a piece of wood. this securely mount the piece of wood to the seat.
it does a nice job of replicating bass.
i sat in a demo car a few years ago at CES. it was a ford taurus. AURA mounted 4 of their bass shakers in there.
i listened and i was totally amazed. i then spent about 10 minutes "tearing" the trunk apart looking for a hidden subenclosure. nothing. they had 2 bass shaker under the front seats and 2 in the rear trunk area, IIRC
parts express has them on sale.
