trouble finding compatible amp

I'm having a little trouble locating a decent mono amp that's stable at 1 ohm. Any recommendations?

Thats kind of tough, most are only stable to 2 ohms. What kind of Power are you looking for?

Probably something in the 500 - 750W range (give or take a tad). I havn't been too excited about anything i've found just yet. The ones i located where Audiobahn, Kicker, and Kenwood.

I have a Kenwood mono that's stable to 1 ohm. It's 400W RMS at that impedence, I think.

Do you not like any those brands that you listed?

None of them really jumped out at me. Do you like your Kenwood amp? I'm thinking i'll just stick with a 2ohm config.

Eh...it's ok. Run of the mill I guess. It was pretty cheap and it has a remote level switch that I put in the console so I can adjust the volume of the sub by itself.

JBL BP600, if its like the BP1200 I ran it sounds good and is underrated, I have seen bench tests rating the BP1200 at pushing over 1300w RMS at 12.5 volts. the amp will reach 600w at both 2 and 1 ohm.

this might be a little late... but autotek(i know .. . who??) i have a mono amp stable @ 1ohm good up to 1400 watts. . . i might sell it if u want it. i paid 6bills 4 it. u can test it out if u like. just pm or email me.
