Whats the best radio that lights up red for an sti? maybe even a dvd player if possible but if anything just a cd player. also should i get the speaker, tweeter and sub combo that they offer or should i just go all aftermarket? if i dont take their setup will there still be a space for my aftermarket speakers and especially subs? thanks for all your help.

My JVC LH-2000 is pretty nice, all but two of the buttons are red and the face can be set to any number of different colors(you can even do day/night for different colors and you can do positive or negative too). It's a good unit all around but I think it may be discontinued now.

Kenwood, panasonic, JVC and a bunch others have color chaning faces now. Browse through crutchfield's site.
BTW I do know that kenwood allows you to change the color of the buttons to green or red. Not sure on the other guys.

Sony I beleive do have red lights on their buttons but I do not know how it performs. I'm assuming that you're trying to match those red lights on your gauges... = ) i just lke it on how they just "show off" when turn your keys before starting. Pretty cool!

I have a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X869, and imo it sounds pretty good even with my dinky 5 1/2 Alpine SPX137A components. I'm currently running it unamped while i shop around for one, and i gotta say its plenty good enough for myself.
It does have the optinon of changing button backlighting from green to red. I do not have my camera at the moment, but will be glad to take pics for you with everything on.
I personally would recommend against Sony, they look cool but their performance is average at best. I've had a few friends' headunits crap out on them merely 5-6 months after they've purchased theirs. All of theirs were in the $300-$400 range, so they couldn't blame them on being lower end models.
