MB Quart RCE 216 6.5" components up Front
MB Quart DKD 113 5.25" coaxials in the Rear
When you install a downward firing subwoofer in the cabin of your vehicle (especially in the center console area-up front), the sound is incredible! Bass seems to come out of everywhere rather than getting the "slap in the back and head" feeling of a sub mounted in the trunk...
If you have a removable single sub, place on the floor in the rear or up front and you'll see what I am talking about....try it out.
I own an 04 Silver/Silver STI with a B&B Cat-back exhaust system...

Ok, I think that everybody like the sound of yours car but now tell me how many of you are running the sound with the factory
radio using power inverter hook up to EQ and AMP.

SubieScott...
I am used to A/D/S separates...had a set of 6.5" components and 6.5" coax A/D/S speakers in my Tundra...it's hard to beat the sound of those speakers...They had a lot of smoothness and Mid-Bass that I feel the MB Quarts lack...but of course, I paid about half of what I paid for the A/D/S.
After spending some money on the my exhaust, I had to tone it down a bit and budget down on my audio system...I am happy with the MB Quarts.
I am probably not making a fair comparison though, against my Tundra that is...The MB Quarts would sound much better I feel if the doors were dampened with dynamat or a similar product...I may go this route soon.
I will be adding two JL 8w6's under the seats and a half din Equalizer soon...probably upgrade my front speakers with A/D/S and eventually add a video system...this car is great...4 doors for the kids and a little pep for me when they are not in it...
