So the speakers and subs have been going in and out on my wrx. Has a crossover and 2 amps, 1 for speakers, 1 for subs, and stock head unit. I was making sure the connection on all the cables was fine and it was pretty much all good. Started driving and about a mile up the road the speakers made a pop and a CEL was thrown. Drove a few more miles to get home, pulled the code.

I checked what it means and what possible reasons are for it. Checked gas cap and black emissions box in the back passenger side of the car.

I ended up clearing the code too, and it hasnt come back yet. I drove a while with everything unplugged, it didnt come back. Plugged everything back in but didnt play music, nothing. Playing music now and dont notice anything except the tweeters are a little fuzzy like there is feedback.

Well, found one of the hoses near the alternator disconnected. Reconnected it so hopefully its fine. Speakers did the "popping" again but it seems to only do it when listening to music from my iPod using the tape deck.

Also heard crackling from the exhaust. Probably just the cat and nothing to really worry about. Car seems to be running perfect.
