maybe your cable was loose or you have a short or something...hmmmm.

I have mine under my seat too....so that the trey opens up under the passenger seat and I can reach it from the drivers seat.

I am thinking that it needs a battery capacitor because thereis just to much running and after 30 minutes, it was down to its last amps at an idle state and once the car fan clicked on,it took it from the ps2 and that was it. What do u guys think and which capacitor should i pick up?
yes, when the fan kicked in... it sucked a wee bit much.

the inverter switched on and off and on REALLY fast that you didnt catch it or hear it.

my old inverter would BEEP.

or the invert dropped it's voltage so much that the PS2 died.

either case, maybe a cap will suffice for those times when the power requirements dip below...

first see if the battery needs to be replaced.

after all, if the car is running, the alternator will provice ALL the power, until it dips below and then the battery then is called to kick in.

are you playing the sound system really loud? then you may wanna :

1. turn down the volume just a tad...

2. get both HIGH OUTPUT ALT and an optima.

otherwise, you are just wasting gas by idling for 30 minutes... plus that's bad for the environment and for your car, IIRC.
