I let my car idle for 30 minutes as i was playing ps2 for that time and everything was awesome BUT as i was playing a game and the car fan clicked on once again after many previous times that idle session and the ps2 died but not the inverter,it was quite odd but i checked to make sure everything was properly ventilated which was confirmed to be fine. I am thinking that it needs a battery capacitor because thereis just to much running and after 30 minutes, it was down to its last amps at an idle state and once the car fan clicked on,it took it from the ps2 and that was it. What do u guys think and which capacitor should i pick up?
the inverter switched on and off and on REALLY fast that you didnt catch it or hear it.
my old inverter would BEEP.
or the invert dropped it's voltage so much that the PS2 died.
either case, maybe a cap will suffice for those times when the power requirements dip below...

Exactly!
THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! I was playing and i heard the inverter beep and the ps2 shut off. I didnt know what happen so i turned the interer switch off to make sure and then it worked when i turned it back on but the beep of death did happen as the ps2 shut off. what do u reccomend oh wise one? I am wondering if a cap would fix that issue since its just a safe hazzard for hard hitting systems. I am wondering if i should get that or get a optima battery? I do have a higher end battery but its not optima. Anyhow i would like to fix that issue,i mean it only happen when idling for 30 minutes.

first see if the battery needs to be replaced.
after all, if the car is running, the alternator will provice ALL the power, until it dips below and then the battery then is called to kick in.
are you playing the sound system really loud? then you may wanna :
1. turn down the volume just a tad...
2. get both HIGH OUTPUT ALT and an optima.
otherwise, you are just wasting gas by idling for 30 minutes... plus that's bad for the environment and for your car, IIRC.

hmmm
well how much is the higher output alternator? and also the battery? I dont have a stock battery which i replaced a year ago. I have a price value and if its to expensive then its not worth the cost to run a ps2 also i cant see how the ps2 can be draining that much energy as opposed to everything elese that has been in there alrerady and never had an issue. I did notice that even driving on a cool night and was playing need for speed underground that it died in 5 minutes of playing and we were driving like 80 on freeway so output was higher than idle. Then on the way back we were playing morkal kombat deadly aliiance and it worked all the way home which was like 15 minutes. I am starting to wonder if the setup is wrong because i had the 400 watt inverter coming off the 600 watt amp so perhaps when the bass hits are happening from the need for speed music, its taking the amp juice and making the subs the priority which drops the voltage for the inverter and thats y the inverter shuts off. Sounds logical to me but then again if i knew i wouldnt be asking for your recommendations on how to properly get it running.
