need help with new headunit

Hi folks, I want to get an aftermarket headunit in my 02 WRX. I would like to know what kind of harnesses do I need and where to buy them, also where to buy the pocket that goes bellow the headunit?
THANKS

You can get all of the above at Crutchfield.com
Usually, what I try to do, though is just buy the connector kits and the spare black pocket from crutchfield, then see what fits and look for a better price for the headunit elsewhere (crutchfield headunits tend to be overpriced). When crutchfield sends you the connector and pocket (should cost around $10 each), they also include all the instructions on how to install them.

If you don't want to get the connector kit from Crutchfield, go to a good (I stress GOOD) stereo shop in your area. If they do installs, they'll have the connector kits, along with good quality mounting kits. Total for both should run you in the ballpark of $20

While it's true that Crutchfield doesn't have the lowest prices, when you buy the HU from them they include the harness adapter, pocket and installation instructions at no extra cost. If you buy speakers they will include the adapters to plug them into the factory connectors.
They also have toll-free phone support and a 30-day exchange period where you can send the unit back if you aren't happy with it and get either a different one or a refund.

I wouldn't mind buying from them except between them and online retailer there is a thirty percent price difference, which is 150 bucks.
