My car alarm chirps when the car is running

Help!! Sometimes, when the car is running, the alarm chirps and the doors lock on their own. I am not even pressing the buttons on the transmitter. My car is a 98 Impreza RS coupe. Any ideas on what's wrong?

just ignition connection and ground at the alarm. might be loose connection or cold solder.

reconnect connections using but connectors or solder them. people who put your alarm in should warrenty it

I just got my car this past June, and it came with the factory alarm, so I don't think it is under warranty anymore.
