factory keyless *CHIME* problem
okay... yesterday my beep stopped working for my keyless entry on a few conditions.
1) when all doors are shut and the lock button is hit, no chime but doors proceed to lock
2) when all doors are shut and locked, and the unlock is hit, doors open accordingly but no chime.
then.................................
****) when a door is OPEN and the lock button is pushed, the chime chirps 4 or 5 times, then when the door is closed, it proceeds to lock , but no single chime.
this pisses me off cuz i dont know if i have locked my car unless i hit the damn button 3 times so the HORN honks, and i dont want to have to do that..
and it makes me mad cuz it JUSt stopped working out of the blue, what the hell.
i checked fuses and everything was fine, and i haven't done anything abnormal driving condition wise.... or modification wise
any idea's ?
It's still under warranty but i'd wrather try to solve it before taking it to the ship

I believe the sequence is unlock the car, then hold down the lock and unlock button together for 5 seconds (or whatever) until it beeps audibly.
If you can't find directions on the key fob, check the user manual. Its definitely in there under "disable lock chime" or something like that.
