BEST brand to go with if I want a security system/autostart/keyless entry
OK, the problem is that there are limited options when getting an AUTOSTART with a MT car. I hear it is bad for the car, but that can't be cuz there are so many cars that have it. Anyway, I checked Viper and Clifford and both do not offer anything for standards. I found AUTOSTART 6000 and they a nice paging system for MT's.
My 2002 WRX has keyless entry, but I might as well get a new system that incorporates all into one remote.
Any suggestions?

viper alarms for manuals are not going to be listed on the DEI website, but can be put into manual cars. i would go with the VIPER 790ESP with the LCD remote and try to get all of the options that you can. great alarm IMO.

IME, the limited options for MT are mostly that shops don't want to put them in for liability reasons. You cannot assure that one time you won't forget and leave the car in 1st when you start it up remotely. There is no technical reason though that would make them bad for the car from a remote start standpoint.
