Arrow Anyone have a Viper alarm on their Subaru?

I was considering getting a Viper alarm with remote start
installed on my 04 WRX Sedan.I was wondering if anyone had any
issues with the install? I have the OEM Subaru alarm system on my
04 WRX would their be any issues replacing it with a Viper alarm?
Any input is appreicated. Thanks.

I have the Viper 850 and i love it. It was an easy dropkick install too. There should be no issues with your factory alarm. Just make sure that you unplug it.

i've got a 791xv installed in my 04 wrx and it works just fine. remote start, window roll up, hood pins, proxy, etc. you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks for your comments.
I plan to install one for peace of mind.
Viper (DEI) is one of the best alarms you can get from what I hear.

wtf?! you dont have one? you're saying i could've jacked your car at the meet w/o you even kowing about it?!?!

jk. hahah.

dude get the alarm. just remember to either unplug the factory one or put it in valet mode. the guys at bestbuy didn't disable the factory alarm in my legacy.... so when i remote started it when i went snowboarding... the factory alarm went off. *sigH* thankfully no avalanches and what not. hehe.

DO IT!!!
