Hello everyone! Can anyone please recommend me of a good, trusted car alarms for an 05' STi? I'm not really sure what brands are mostly trusted. Thanks!

I was considering getting the new CompuSTAR. It is a two way remote with LCD, remote-start, paging, and a whole slew of goodies and features. Check out the site.

If you want a Pager alarm go w/ Compustar. I went w/ Cliffords G5 Intelliguard 850. Both great alarms, prices are about the same.

I've got a Compustar on my '05 and am pretty pleased with it. Used the DEI 556U for the transponder bypass, and also hooked up a motion sensor and trunk pop solenoid. Before winter I am going to use one of the aux outputs to activate the rear defroster.

i'll have to vouch for clifford as well...i bought their ig7000 alarm a couple years ago and had the turbo timer option installed. just make sure you go to a knowledgable dealer to have to installed.

regarding their "true" lifetime warranty, i've had the alarm brain and one of the remotes replaced for free; their dealers really do do a standup job of honoring that warranty.
