I got pulled over last night for street racing. I live in florida. Ne way, I pulled off to the side to get my ticket. (the other car kept going) so the cop pulls along side of me, not behind me. And starts yelling at me about stupid kids racing blah blah blah. He tells me that if the other kid had stopped, I would have gotten a ticket. So I got no written warning, no ticket, nothing!!!!! Is there some loophole that states that you have to both get pulled over in order to get a ticket????

Where is the proof you were racing? Cant race yourself.
But most places, like here in Alabama, cops dont need that. Hell they dont even need to "detect" your speed. They can give you tickets for racing, speeding, etc. Just becuase you accellerated to fast.
Be thankful. I got a tickety in Jan in FL for doing 88
Yet my crusie was set at 80. First question officer asked was "what year is your car?".

No vid . Was it that police training video to spot possible street racer's ? If it was that video is totally hardcore . They can pull you over for the size of exhaust , sticker's on car , gives them the right to check under the hood .
