I see your point, but you know.. Look what happened to Transformers. It turned out ok.

I don't think that the original look of G.I. Joe way back when will sell seats in the theaters, society wants technology, louder bangs, bigger *****... That said.. Yeah, they'd have to get pretty advance with the latest and greatest..
